The Grizz lost their conference opener to Hillcrest 36-35 on a last second score. Amani Morel led the Grizz with 122 yards on the ground and a pair of TD's. Zyan Crockett also scored twice on the ground. Hamilton Woodruff caught a Touchdowm pass and had 101 yards receiving in the losing effort.
